For several years, I posted a list of books I read every year, but fell out of the habit of doing that after 2015. I continue to read about 25 non-fiction books each year, because I truly believe in the classic quote from Charley Tremendous Jones: “You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.” Books make you smarter. Books make you reconsider your perceptions. Books give you a broader view of the world. Now, I’m not the guy that has shelves of books in his garage going on about knawledge, but there is tremendous value in reading.

In this post, I am going to select some of the best business, investing, Christian leadership and other non-fiction books that I’ve read between 2016 and 2019. While I’m not going to give commentary on each book, hopefully these lists will help you identify some titles you may want to pick up soon. These books are sorted in alphabetical order by title. It’s also important to note that just because I read a book does not necessarily mean that I endorse its message in its entirety.
